I hope everyone who actually still reads this blog is doing well. I hope to revamp it soon and change it from an infertility blog to a… Foster Care blog (the children’s names will be changed for confidentiality). Hopefully. We have to get through the home study process first. As far as the home study goes, it is going really well. we have another appointment tomorrow afternoon. There will be a total of 5 or 6, this varies county to county and state to state. We have completed 2 of those visits. We have all of our paperwork turned in (Finally). The first visit was just to kind of meet the social worker, Christine, and have her get a feel for us and our home while she told us about the process. Then we moved on to my interview. which will be continued tomorrow (what can I say? I have a messed up history that is hard to explain). Then part of it will be our religious views, social views, and our relationship as a couple. So tomorrow we finish my portion, then friday afternoon Josh has his interview. Then the following friday we interview as a couple… Hopefully we will be certified in august after a visit for a safety audit, and a committee meeting on deciding if we will be good foster parents. *fingers crossed*
