I go in for a D&C on Thursday. It’s an outpatient surgery, but I will be under general anesthetic, so Josh has to take the day off work to go with me. I hate the thought of it, but it doesn’t look like I’m going to pass it on my own. There are other concerns too that if I miscarry and don’t know it, because I’m RH-, my immune system would try and fight off a future pregnancy. Also the longer you stay pregnant the larger chance you have of bleeding out and having to have an emergency D&C. So I figured that scheduled would be better. Wish me luck!
