Ok, I had an appointment with Dr. Chin this morning and I am kinda confused. My Uterine lining should be shedding, but it’s not. It’s still pretty thick, 12mm. So he ordered a blood HCG test to see if I am pregnant. He said not to get my hopes up though, because it’s probably just excess progesterone in my system. I’ll get the results later today.

So looking at this month’s treatment we are trying some new things. We are starting with Clomid 50mg CD 6-10. Along with that I am going to do my gonadatropin injectables CD8-14. then we are going to use the hCG trigger and then we are going to do an IUI. That is where the doctor ‘washes’ Josh’s sperm and uses a catheter to insert it directly into my uterus. The benefit of it is that 10s of millions of sperm can reach the egg. In normal intercourse only about 1000-5000 sperm get past the cervix. So, hopefully this is my magic medical cocktail! I am excited for this round of treatment to begin!
